This is one of our favourite recipes, enjoy!

An organic wrap stuffed with Bärta “Bitar Chili & Lime”, black kale and apple salsa. A creamy and juicy meal to eat anytime. For lunch, dinner or why not pack pre-cut the ingredients, pack them in a bento box and head out in nature.

INGREDIENTS

1 package Bärta “Bitar chili & lime”
4 tortillas or other wrap-friendly bread
A couple of black kale leaves
2 carrots
1 pinch finely grated ginger
1 garlic clove
1/4 chili pepper
2 tablespoons roasted sesame oil
Salt
Oil
1 can cherry tomatoes, sliced down the middle
Vegan cream cheese, with a squeeze of lime juice

Apple salsa

1 big apple
1/2 red chili pepper
1/2 red onion
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 ml salt
A little bit of roasted sesame oil
1 pot coriander

Vegan organic cream cheese

1 liter organic unsweetened soymilk
1/2 dl lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons oil

Instructions cream cheese: 1. Carefully bring the the soymilk to boil. Stir regularly to avoid the milk burning into the pot bottom. 2. Add lemon juice and salt. Stir. The milk will separate. 3. Strain through a large coffee filter in the fridge for about 12 hours. 4. Add oil. Add salt, lemon, herbs and spices to your liking.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Take out Bärta “Bitar Chili & Lime” from the freezer and let thaw. Feel free to defrost for a short while in the microwave.

  2. Sauté garlic, ginger and chili in sesame oil. Cut the carrots into thin sticks and add to the frying pan. Slice the kale a few times lengthwise and fry with the other ingredients.

  3. Fry the Bärta chunks golden brown or brush on oil and grill.

  4. The apple salsa: Finely chop chili and onion, mix in a bowl. Squeeze out lime juice over it, add oil, salt and stir. Chop the apple, roughly chop the coriander and add to the mix.

  5. Heat the tortillas quickly in a pan or on the grill.

  6. Make the wrap: Spread the cream cheese on the tortilla, add the friend vegetables, tomatoes and Bärta. Wrap it all up and take a bite!
